A. Yes, you can make a booking over the phone. but we take all initial bookings online through our website. Don’t worry, it’s super simple to book and only takes one minute.
Q. Do I pay anything upfront?
A. No, the mechanics will only take payment after a job has been completed. We accept both cash and card payments.
Q. Can you give a quote for repair work?
A. Yes, with any specific repair job, service or inspection we are able to provide you with a quote. Simply send us a message with details about your car and what service you require. We’ll tailor a quote accordingly.
Q. Do I need to book an appointment?
A. We advise you to book an appointment to ensure you will be seen as quickly as possible.
Q. When is My Car Eligible for its First MOT?
A. When your car is three years old, it is required to undergo an MOT.
Q. If my MOT runs out can I still drive?
A. Yes. As long as you have made a booking to have your MOT done.
Q. What Happens if My Vehicle Fails the MOT Test?
A. Should the vehicle fail, you will be issued with a VT3O Certificate stating the items causing the failure of the MOT test. Make sure that you are clear as to what rectification is required for a pass to be issued.
Q. How long does an MOT test normally take?
A. An MOT test takes approximately 45 – 60 minutes.
Q. How often should I have my car serviced?
A. If your car is over three years old, we recommend having your car serviced at least once per year. We recommend owners alternate between a Minor (or Interim) Service and a Major (or Full) Service each year. We also suggest you check your vehicles servicing manual.
